Industrial Symphony No. 1

Industrial Symphony No. 1: The Dream of the Broken Hearted was an on-stage performance directed by David Lynch.
Originally presented on-stage at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York City on November 10, 1989, it was released on VHS in 1990. The music was composed by Angelo Badalamenti and sung by Julee Cruise. Nicolas Cage and Laura Dern preface the performance, which also features Michael J. Anderson (known for his role as the Man From Another Place on Twin Peaks). Most of the music from the performance has been released on the Julee Cruise albums Floating into the Night and The Voice of Love.
