Indus Airways is a regional domestic low-cost airline based in New Delhi, India. Its main base is Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi.

Sh. Brig. Kapil Mohan, He is the CMD of Mohan Meakins Breweries Ltd. Brigadier Mohan, is remembered for his bravery in an incident, in 1994, during which he overpowered two hijackers of an Indian Airlines plane from Delhi to Lucknow, sustaining stab wounds from the hijackers in the process.

The management of Indus Airways Pvt Ltd will be vested with Board of Directors and experienced team of technical expert and professionals.


Director, Mr. Parminder Lakhapaul, 45 years of age, is an NRI, born and brought up in India, did his graduation from Punjab University. He is into a large-scale garment business. The concern's name is D&P Wholesalers Ltd., it was established in the year 1984 in United Kingdom. It is one of the reputed company & has achieved the award for "20 years of continued growth and customer satisfaction 1984-2004" on the 1st day of January, 2004.


Director, Sh. Krishan Gopal Beri, Advocate, aged 41, did his B.Com.(Hons.) from I.P. College, Bulandshar and L.L.B. from Khurja College, Meerut University. He is the managing Director of M/s. Beri & Beri Cold Storage and General Mills Pvt Ltd

Director, Mr. Baldev Seth, 46 years of age, did his B.Com from Delhi University. He is proprietor of garments export house, in India in the name of Nitin International and has a overseas office in London under the name of Fashion Flames Ltd. Indian Council of small & Medium Exporters (ICSME) awarded him a Gold Medal & the certificate of excellence "Niryat Shiromani Puraskar" on 8 th Nov. 2003 for his concern.

Chief Executive Officer (Maharastra Region) Capt. A.P.C. Kapoor, Vayu Sena Medal(Gallantry) has come in civil aviation through air force. He was a Transport Pilot with Indian Air Force. He later joined Air India and was raised to the rank of Director Operations. He has a flying experience of more than 20,000 Hours on various Aircrafts

In October 2005 it was reported that "liquor baron" Kapil Mohan, of Mohan Meakins, along with other Indian businessmen, had invested in Indus Airways. They had plans to start services by the end of October 2005 using two Bombardier CRJ-200 aircraft leased from Lufthansa. Three more CRJ aircraft were expected by December and a fleet of 10 aircraft was planned, including three Boeing 737-800s and two Bombardier CRJ-700s .
