PT Indosat Tbk (NYSE: IIT) is an Indonesian telecommunications company. It was established in 1967 as a foreign investment company. It is the second largest provider of wireless services in Indonesia through its three brands, Matrix, Mentari, and IM-3. The company also provides international long-distance, multimedia, data communications and internet access services.

Internet Service Provider IndosatM2 is Indosat division for Internet Access. It give many service ISP commonly have such as Wave, VSAT, etc., except ADSL.

Reliability of Internet Service Fact Unfortunately even Indosat is one of major leading communication in this country, like many Indonesian ISP, IndosatM2 also did not up the customer expectation. Many severe lag and internet down plagued the services and when they do, customer will not get cut adjustment whatsoever to their billing. This so called bad practiced may be lead by fact that both Telkom and Indosat is the only monopoly of Indonesian telecommunication business. For grade from A - F, Indosat got C in reliability of service. While compared to others such CBN.net.id which got F (Abysmal).

IndosatM2 Customer Support Review The customer support, quite responsive and might be helpfull though not always problem solved though. But the downside is only contacting them, because it is usually very difficult and take a very long time just to be contacted and mostly not available. Especially in the time of problem occur. For grade from A - F, Indosat got B in Customer Support.

For companies looking for ISP for their business needs in Indonesia, Indosat quite recommedable though not the better. There is no ISP good enough in Indonesia though as Indonesian bad infrastructure and corrupt government prevent anything move forward compared to smaller nation such as Singapore or compared to its neighbour such Malaysia.
