Indonesians in the Philippines

According to a recent survey[citation needed], Indonesians in the Philippines number about 36,000[citation needed]. Most Indonesians in the Philippines are of Javanese or Sundanese extraction[citation needed], while some are Sulawesi or Maluku natives[citation needed]. Although the Indonesians in the Philippines have been prejudiced as terrorists and extremists[citation needed], many of them peaceful Islamic missionaries living in Mindanao, although there are also some who are members of the Jemaah Islamiyah terrorist group.[citation needed]
