Indiana United States Senate election, 2006

The 2006 U.S. Senate election for the state of Indiana was held November 7, 2006.

The Republican incumbent, Dick Lugar, ran for a sixth term against Libertarian Steve Osborn. There was no Democratic candidate.

The Indiana Senate race was the only one in 2006 where the incumbent faced no challenger from the other major party. Exit polls projected a landslide victory for Lugar which was borne out by the result.
