Indiana State Road 331

State Road 331 (SR 331) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Indiana. It runs from State Road 25 north of Rochester via Bourbon, Bremen and Mishawaka to State Road 23 just north of the Indiana Toll Road (Interstate 80/Interstate 90). As of June 2006, the entire route is open, however portions of the road are still being developed.
The extension near Mishawaka is specifically mentioned in the Indiana Code:
- Title 6 Article 23 Chapter 6 Section 1. (a) The department shall select the route of highways in the system of highways under its control through cities and towns, and may change the routes as the department determines most convenient for public travel.
- (b) Notwithstanding subsection (a) and in or near the city of Mishawaka, Indiana, the portion of Capital Avenue lying between:
- (1) the most recently established US 20 bypass as of January 1, 1997; and
- (2) the Indiana toll road;
- is designated state route number three hundred thirty-one (331).
