Indiana Daily Student

The Indiana Daily Student is an independent, student-run newspaper serving Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, USA. Founded in 1867, the Indiana Daily Student, or IDS for short, has a circulation of 15,000-16,000 during the school year and employs around 200 students as well as 11 professional staff who assist with the publication of the paper. Since 1969, the IDS has been financially independent of Indiana University and is today entirely funded by advertising revenue. Drawing many of its student employees from Indiana University's School of Journalism, the Indiana Daily Student has garnered numerous awards, including the Pacemaker Award.

The Indiana Daily Student has a number of weekly and annual features, including the Reader Poll determined "Best of Bloomington." Past winners include All Sorts of Trouble for the Boy in the Bubble Sketch Comedy for "Best Comedy Show."
