Indian XXXIV Corps
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Indian XXXIV Corps was formed towards the end of World War II to be part of the Fourteenth Army in Operation Zipper, the invasion of Malaya.
Since Japan surrendered before the operation could be executed, the corps, command of Lieutenant-General Ouvry Roberts, did not see wartime service. It did, however, see occupation duty after the conflict was over.
