Incesticide is a compilation album of rare songs, b-sides and studio outtakes released by Nirvana on December 14, 1992 in Europe, and December 15, 1992 in the U.S. It was released through Geffen Records. The album reached No. 39 in the Billboard Top 200. The cover art is a painting by the band's frontman, Kurt Cobain, and some say the deformed limbs of the "human" figure in this painting spell the word "Cunt".

Early pressings of the CD contained liner notes written by Kurt Cobain. These copies contained a "Parental Advisory: Explicit Lyrics" sticker[citation needed]. The liner notes were discontinued around the time of Cobain's death.
