In The Raw

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In The Raw is a documentary film about Lubricated Goat's nude appearance on Australian TV.

In November 1988 Andrew Denton's Blah Blah Blah program caused a nationwide stir by allowing guitar group Lubricated Goat to perform on Australian Broadcasting Corporation TV completely naked. The resulting media frenzy jammed talk back lines as the public hotly debated this apparent decline in Australian media standards.

In The Raw dispels the myths which have arisen as a result of Lubricated Goat's nude appearance by exposing the politics, censorship, and nudity of this event through extensive interviews with the members of Lubricated Goat, ABC Management and the Blah Blah Blah Production team.

The project was directed by Cousin Creep and made for Happening Films of Melbourne, Australia.

In The RAW (2) is a music show on TVS (Channel 31, Sydney - community television), it also takes its name from the infamous Lubricated Goat song.

The show is an independent music TV show with a comedy edge which features music from up and coming Aussie bands, offering a place for the smaller independent artist to be seen and heard. All content that is made for the show is freely available on the net at their website.
