In The Disco

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In The Disco was the Bosnian and Herzegovinian entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 2004, performed entirely in English (the first time the country had not sung at least partly in Bosnian) by Deen.
As Bosnia had not finished in the top ten in the previous Contest, the song was performed in the semi-final. Here, it was performed twenty-first (following Serbia and Montenegro's Željko Joksimović & Ad Hoc Orchestra with Lane Moje and preceding the Netherlands's Re-Union with Without You. It received 133 points to place 7th in the 22-song semi-final and qualify for the final.
In the final, it was performed twelfth (following Croatia's Ivan Mikulić with You Are The Only One and preceding Belgium's Xandee with 1 Life). At the close of voting, it had received 91 points, placing 9th in a field of 24 and qualifying Bosnia for the final at the next Contest.

The song is an up-tempo Eurodisco number, with Deen expressing his desire to "stay all night, in the disco".

It was succeeded as Bosnian and Herzegovinian representative at the 2005 Contest by Feminnem with Call Me.
