In The City is a yearly festival and music industry conference devised by Anthony H. Wilson, formerly of Factory Records and Granada Television, and his partner Yvette.

For most years, the In The City festival is based in Manchester, England with music industry conferences being held in the Midland Hotel and gigs, open to the public as well as A&R, held in many venues across the city.

In The City, which aims to be Britain's answer to the SXSW festival in Texas, with many new bands and acts being discovered and signed by record company bosses.
