"In Public" is an R&B song written by American singer Kelis alongside songwriter and producer Dana "Rockwilder" Stinson and rapper and Kelis' husband Nas, for Kelis's 2003 third studio album Tasty.
The song was released as the album's fourth, and last, single in spring 2005. Just like the previous hits "Trick Me" and "Millionaire", it was only released in Europe and basically everywhere except the United States. No video was made for this song which features Kelis' husband Nas. Nevertheless, it managed to get into the UK charts, concretely landing at #17, due to strong radio and club airplay.
The single was originally due to be a double A-side with the Raphael Saadiq-produced "Glow". This did not happen and a reason for the change has never been given.
