The album was released on February 28, 2006. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 200, and went platinum after 10 weeks of sales. The album's fifth and final single is said to be "Mirror", a slow soulful ballad and could possibly be just a radio-only single. He went on tour in August with Chris Brown and Dem Franchize Boyz.

[edit] Overview

Ne-Yo wrote the lyrics for each song on the album. Upcoming Norwegian producers Stargate produced the hit single, "So Sick", and also contributed "Sexy Love," "Let Go," and "Time" for the debut LP. Other producers on the album include Ron "Neff-U" Feemstar of Drama Family Entertainment, who produced the first single, "Stay", and the club-friendly "Sign Me Up" as well. "Let Me Get This Right" gets another Drama Family Entertainment producer on to a track, while Ne-Yo's in-house producers helmed the third single, "When You're Mad". Curtis "Sauce" Wilson ("It Just Ain't Right" and "Mirror"), Boola ("I Ain't Gotta Tell You"), and Ervin "E.P." Pope ("Get Down Like That") produce the rest of the album.
