I'm a 22 year old college student, computer science major, working for a company that provides GPS navigation and data processing for offshore surveying, currently stationed in Cameroon, Africa. I have extensive experience in the field of agriculture, having worked on or around a farm for most of my youth, and explored it's vagaries to a great extent. I have studied the areas of military history, (primarily 1500's to WWI), Christian theology and apologetics, Greek and Roman history, and art history fairly extensively. I'm also pretty experienced with beard growing (post 2001). My literary interests are fairly eclectic, but I've read a great deal of science fiction and fantasy, having made C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien my heroes growing up. I know Latin and German, (an usual combination, I know), and am in the process of learning Greek. As a programmer, I'm fluent in Java and Visual Basic, working on complete fluency in C++, and will hopefully have Perl under my belt before too long. I don't speak of COBOL in polite company.
