Imprimi potest

Imprimi potest is an official approval by the religious superior (or their representative) of a Roman Catholic religious order to publish a work. It indicates that a work by a member of the religious order has been approved for publication by their superiors.

The phrase is Latin, meaning, "able to be printed."

The Imprimi potest, along with the Nihil obstat, forms part of the Catholic Imprimatur.
