Impact Pro Wrestling (New Zealand)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Impact Pro Wresting (IPW) is a professional wrestling promotion based in Auckland, New Zealand. It is the oldest of the country's current professional promotions, and has visited Australia in recent times in conjunction with Gold Coast based MIW. This promotion is the only promotion in New Zealand to have come to such an arrangement and is unique in Trans Tasman relations in pro wrestling.
IPW was formed by a core group of wrestlers who left the now-defunct Mania Pro Wrestling, a wrestling organisation promoted by the Mania gym, a training centre that specialised in women's sport fighting as well as professional wrestling training.
