[edit] About Me
Hello, I am Imax80, a fellow teenaged Wikipedia user. I am a fellow citizen of the United States of America, in the Northeastern states. I won't reveal any personal information, because I fear of internet predators. I also won't say what state I reside in. But I always reveal interests. I enjoy animation immensely and write screenplays that should be animated movies. I also enjoy reviewing movies, TV shows, short films, and video games.
My favorite animated films come from Walt Disney Pictures and their lineup of classics, and I also heavily favor the computer animated masterpieces from Pixar. I am a huge Disney freak. I am probably the only guy in my grade who appreciates Disney, since almost everyone else wants to hate Disney movies. I love all of what Pixar has done. I am just a huge Disney/Pixar fan, their movies are great, along with their TV shows, theme parks, and everything else.
I am also a huge fan of Walt Disney Classics. Yes, that's right. I collect these collecitble videos from 1984 to 1994 and study them as well, and collect other vintage Disney videos. I also collect other old Disney videos from 1978 to 1994, all the logos, FBI screens, and other extra stuff. It may be irrelevant to other Wikipedians, but WDHV and logo fans like that stuff a lot.
Also, the two logos for the series seen on the videos before the films start are some of my favorite studio logos out of this world logos. The 1984 and 1988 Walt Disney Classics logos own!
[edit] My Immense Collection of Disney Videos (1980-1994)
-Walt Disney Home Video-
- Pete's Dragon (October 21, 1980)
- On Beta. This is an original from 1980 because there is no print date sticker, a big label inside the case that says "NOTICE: Duplication in whole or part of this cassette is prohibited. An electric anti-copy system is encoded into the tape to prevent duplicating. Should you experience a vertical roll on your television set when playing this tape, readjust the vertical hold control on your television. This one time adjustment should correct this problem without affecting normal reception. For optimum playback, it may be necessary to adjust the tracking control on your videocassette player." It's in very good condition, for a 1980 tape. It says on the back of the tape in white letters, "FOR SALE ONLY, NOT INTENDED FOR RENTAL."
- Dumbo (June 26, 1981 (VHS and Beta) (my copies printed on: August 13, 1983 (Beta) and November 22, 1983 (VHS)
- The Beta is in great condition. On the back of the tape, it says "FOR SALE ONLY, NOT INTENDED FOR RENTAL." The VHS is in good condition. On the tape, the 1983 Red FBI screen and the Blue "Licensed" screen, the 1978 Neon Mickey, and the blue MPAA screen. The Walt Disney and You promo is at the end.
- The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (June 26, 1981) (my copy printed on: May 3, 1983)
- It's a Beta tape. Good condition. Rare. FOR SALE ONLY NOT INTENDED FOR RENTAL.
- Davy Crockett and the River Pirates (June 26, 1981)
- Former rental. Good condition. The very original. Three blue FBI screens, as well as "FOR RENTAL ONLY. NOT FOR SALE." The screen has a tag on the bottom saying, "Property of Walt Disney Telecommunications and Non-Theatrical Company", then the screen stays black for 5 seconds and the 1978 Neon Mickey comes out of nowhere. On the back of the tape in white letters, it says, "FOR RENTAL ONLY, NOT INTENDED FOR SALE." Label is peeling.
- Alice in Wonderland (October 15, 1981) (my copy printed on: October 18, 1982)
- Sale version. On the tape, the blue FBI screens and the 1978 Neon Mickey, and the blue MPAA screen. At the end of the tape is the Walt Disney and You promo.
- Pollyanna (1981) (my copy printed on: December 15, 1983)
- Former rental. Label is off tape but stuck on with tape and a rental sticker. Red FBI screen and Blue "Licensed" screen, and the 1978 Neon Mickey.
- Fun and Fancy Free (1982) (my copy printed on: December 13, 1984)
- Former rental. Good condition. Rental sticker on lower part of the label. The tape master uses the 1984 label with "HOME VIDEO" in Handel Gothic font, but the 1983 Red FBI screen and Blue "Licensed" screen are on there, and the 1978 Neon Mickey. 1982 promo at the end.
- Tex (October 1983)
- On it, the early Red FBI screen and the Blue "Licensed" screen, and the 1978 Neon Mickey logo. No MPAA rating. Good condition on tape and box. Former rental. There is a print date sticker on the top with no print date.
- Winnie the Pooh and Friends (1985) (my copy printed on: September 23, 1984)
- Red FBI screens and Neon Mickey 1983. Former rental. Good condition.
- The Prince and the Pauper (1985) (my copy printed on: December 12, 1984)
- This isn't the Mickey Mouse version, it's a live-action version. Red FBI screens and Neon Mickey 1983.
- Gus (1985) (my copy printed on: May 28, 1985)
- The cover is changed with the "HOME VIDEO" text being in Handel Gothic font, along with the videotape label. This release still has the 1981 tape master, but the only thing changed is that it has the red FBI screens, and the 1983 Neon Mickey. Former rental.
- Walt Disney Comedy and Magic Revue (1985) (my copy printed on: October 15, 1985)
- The only release of this title. Red FBI screens, no Neon Mickey, but a black screen saying "WALT DISNEY HOME VIDEO" and a screen saying "presents." There is a really small metallic sticker on the side of the case saying "Walt Disney Home Video" in red.
- Return from Witch Mountain (1986) (my copy printed on: April 17, 1986)
- On the tape, the Red FBI screens, and a "Now on Walt Disney Home Video..." bumper (rare find), and a trailer for The Journey of Natty Gann, and then the 1983 Neon Mickey. Good condition on everything. Former rental.
- Davy Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier (5/28/86)
- Tape has red FBI screens and 1983 Neon Mickey. Cardboard slipcover case. Former rental. The film is offscreen.
- 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (5/28/86)
- Tape has red FBI screens and 1983 Neon Mickey. Cardboard slipcover case. Former rental.
- Bedknobs and Broomsticks (5/28/86)
- Has red FBI screens and 1983 Neon Mickey. Cardboard slipsleeve. Former rental. The tape reels are yellow instead of white.
- The Absent-Minded Professor (5/28/86)
- Red FBI screens and 1983 Neon Mickey. Plus a screen saying the film was once in B&W and now Color, and the screen is B&W at first, then it changes to color.
- The Journey of Natty Gann (10/14/1986)
- This is the re-print with the red FBI screens and the 1986 WDHV logo. Former rental.
- Disney Sing Along Songs: Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah (12/23/86)
- The tape is a former rental and in its old blue case. It uses the dark red FBI screens and the video dealer announcement, and the 1986 WDHV logo with "presents" below it.
- The Three Caballeros (1989) (my copy printed on: February 16, 1988)
- On the tape, there are the Red FBI screens, and the 1986 WDHV logo. Label is off the tape when I got it, and I taped it back on. Clamshell is in good condition. Former rental.
- The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh Volume 6: All's Well that Ends Well (1991) (my copy printed on: May 3, 1991)
- Ink on tape. Has red FBI screens and WDHV 1986. I am fairly sure there is a promo at the end of it. No case.
- Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey (1993) (my copy printed on: May 20, 1993)
- Since this is a rental, the tape begins at the end of the last Green FBI screen, and the 1993 WDHV logo on a blue background, trailers for "The Nightmare Before Christmas", "Aladdin", and "A Muppet Christmas Carol" and then a different version of the FP logo (the words "FEATURE" and "PRESENTATION" come up and come down and connect to each other) with the 1991 jingle. Then the film begins.
-Walt Disney Classics-
- Robin Hood (12/6/84, 10/13/86, and 7/12/91) (my copies printed on: September 16, 1986 (Beta) and June 6, 1991)
- The first tape is a Beta tape, and it's in its original black clamshell case. The second tape is the 1984 copy, strangely packaged with the white clamshell, has just the usual, red FBI warnings (the video starts right at them) and the 1984 Classics logo with the cheap graphics. Audio quality is a bit poor. Clamshell case is in good condition, just a crack inside on the spine. On the third tape, I have the first version with the Red FBI screens, the previews and FP bumper, and the cut-short Classics logo. 1984 tape in 1986 clamshell is a former rental.
- Pinocchio (7/16/85, 10/13/86, and 3/26/93) (my copies printed on: August 8, 1985, October 20, 1986 and January 19, 1993)
- On the first tape, the Red FBI screens and 1984 Classics logo are a bit offscreen, and the audio quality is great. Clamshell in fair condition, a huge crack down the side of the spine, but I taped it. The second tape has the dark red FBI warnings that slideshow, and then the video dealer announcement, and the 1984 classics logo, but it stays still for 10 seconds and then fades away! The third tape has trailers for The Nightmare Before Christmas and Aladdin, and the 1992 electronically muffled Classics logo. Clamshell is in bad condition since I had this as a little kid.
- Dumbo (12/1/85, 10/13/86, and 5/23/91) (my copies printed on: August 29, 1985, July 16, 1988 and June 28, 1993)
- The first tape is in the original black padded clamshell (faded a bit), and the tape label has no "WALT DISNEY'S" on the top and writing for "DUMBO" is red. It has the red FBI screens and Neon Mickey 1983 (very odd) and the 1982 video promo at the end. The second tape is the 1986 tape re-print. The label is peeling but is still on there, that's why I haven't used the tape in a while. It has the Red FBI screens and the cheesy logo. Clamshell is in good condition. The third tape is the 1991 50th Anniversary version with Red FBI screens and the Sorcerer Mickey Classics logo. The clamshell is in bad condition since I had it as a little kid.
- The Sword in the Stone (10/13/86) (my copy printed on: October 4, 1986)
- The tape has the Red FBI screens, a trailer for The Journey of Natty Gann, and the cheesy classics logo. Good condition, label is a bit teared. Former rental.
- Alice in Wonderland (10/13/86) (my copy printed on: July 14, 1988)
- Clamshell case. Good condition, label is almost off the tape, like my 1986 Dumbo video. I guess in 1988, they had bad labels, like my 1988 Cinderella tape as well. Red FBI screens are on the tape. They slideshow rather than fading to black, and the cheesy classics logo is a bit cut-off at the end of it.
- Sleeping Beauty (10/14/86) (my copy printed on: August 11, 1986)
- Clamshell in good condition, tape as well, film fuzzes a bit. On the tape, dark red FBI screens and the video dealer announcement. And then the cheesy classics logo.
- Lady and the Tramp (10/6/87)
- Must be from 1988. On tape, the Red FBI screen and the red "Licensed" screen. No "Duplication" screen. This is followed by the cheesy Classics logo. Audio quality is poor. Clamshell is in fair condition. Tape has a rock pattern surrounding the outside rather than crosses.
- Cinderella (10/4/88)
- Like my Dumbo and Alice tapes, the label is peeling. The clamshell is in great condition. Uses the red FBI screens, the green "This preview is suitable for all audiences..." screen and then the trailer for "Oliver & Company," and then the prototype original 1988 Classics logo.
- Bambi (9/28/89)
- I don't have the video anymore. The clamshell is in good condition. But on the tape, I remember the Red FBI screens, the green "Preview" screen, and the trailer for "The Little Mermaid," and the regular 1989 classics logo.
- The Little Mermaid (5/18/90) (my copy printed on: March 25, 1990)
- Red FBI screens and Classics logo. Very good condition.
- Peter Pan (9/21/90) (my copy printed on: April 10, 1990)
- The tape itself has the diamond on the right side of the tape, and it's big. On the tape, red FBI screens, coming attraction bumpers, "The Little Mermaid" and "The Rescuers Down Under" trailers and 1989 Classics logo.
- The Jungle Book (5/3/91) (my copy printed on: February 1991)
- Good, nearly perfect condition. On the tape are the red FBI screens, the old black and white "Coming to Theaters from Walt Disney Pictures" bumper, with the lengthy preview for Beauty and the Beast, followed by The Rescuers Down Under trailer, and no FP screen, but the Classics logo.
- The Rescuers Down Under (9/20/91) (my copy printed on: June 29, 1991)
- On the tape, red FBI screens, 1986 WDHV logo and preview for The Jungle Book, and then the FP screen, and then the Classics logo. Good condition, tape has ink, no label.
- Fantasia (11/1/91) (my copy printed in: September 1991)
- Nothing much about it, just the FBI warnings and the Classics logo. Good condition.
- 101 Dalmatians (4/10/92) (my copy printed on: March 16, 1992)
- The Green FBI screens, two of them, not one. The 1992 FP logo, the 1992 Classics logo. Trailer for Aladdin. At the end of the movie, there are previews for The Great Mouse Detective and Beauty and the Beast.
- The Great Mouse Detective (7/17/92) (my copy printed on: April 30, 1992)
- Trailer for Aladdin, 1992 Classics logo. Previews for The Rescuers and Beauty and the Beast at the end.
- The Rescuers (9/13/92) (my copy printed on: June 1, 1992)
- Previews for The Great Mouse Detective and Beauty and the Beast. Navy FP screen and electronically muffled Classics logo.
- Beauty and the Beast (10/30/92) (my copy printed on: November 16, 1992)
- Trailers for Aladdin, Sleeping Beauty and Pinocchio, and 1992 Classics logo, electronically muffled. Preview for 101 Dalmatians at the end.
- Aladdin (10/1/93) (my copy printed on: June 17, 1993)
- Trailers for The Lion King and Pinocchio.
- The Fox and the Hound (3/4/94) (my copy printed on: March 12, 1994)
- Previews for The Lion King and The Return of Jafar.
-Walt Disney Mini-Classics-
- Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree (1991) (my copy printed on: August 9, 1991)
- The label is crinkled and almost off. I taped it back on. The tape is good condition, with red FBI screens and 1986 WDHV logo. Mini-Classics promo at the end. No case.
- Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day (1991) (my copy printed on: June 18, 1991)
- No label. On the tape, has everything "Honey Tree" had. No case.
The * symbol means that these tapes are coming to me in the mail.
(to be continued)
[edit] Entertainment and Music
I also have a huge interest in the feature film Cars, because it is my favorite movie ever made. Also collect the the collectible diecast cars based on the film.
My favorite genre of music is rock, and I have interest for funk, disco, and classical and few others. My favorite bands are The Beatles, Aerosmith, Queen, Boz Scaggs, ACDC, Billy Joel, Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and various songs from various bands. I own an iPod Nano with 310 songs, many of which are rock songs. Other songs are disco, funk, metal, classical, and soundtrack.
My least favorite types of music are the pop songs that dominate the charts of modern day. I don't listen to a lot of that music, I basically despise most of it, so I turn to older songs. I don't have much of a likeage for new wave synth-pop, it's not bad but it isn't great either.

[edit] Where Else to Find Me
You may also find on IMDb.com as macmillen and on Youtube.com as Imaxination80. I use eBay as kathymac60 although my name in real life is not Kathy, that's just the name of a parent of me, my mother, because I am teenaged Wikipedian and her son.
I've been part of Wikipedia since May 23, 2006, but I was an anonymous user since the autumn season of 2005 on the Walt Disney Home Entertainment article. My first attempt to be a Wikipidean was a day before becoming Imax80, originally named Corvette67. The account is no longer active. I need to know how to close the user page.
I won't take friendly to internet trolls, because it is not nice. I have faced some offenses on IMDb.com by some people. If you are angry at me (which is unlikely), just settle things out with me on my talk page. I am a civil Wikipedian, and if one ticks me off, which will probably won't happen, I am not too happy. Anyhow, please get to know me. I am eager to meet with all the top administraitors. If you vandalize this page, or delete it all, I won't be happy.
Wikipedia is lucky to have me as a user, because my school teachers say that "Wikipedia can be wrong at times because it's users submitting wrong info to the site." I take no offense to what they say and I use it to help me on things. I will use the site for a while, who knows when, maybe for my whole life.
[edit] Sports and Other
I also enjoy billiards and once and a while, swimming. I also like riding my bike, or talking walks in the woods. I love looking at nature and yet drawing it as well. I study a lot about certain animals and I am an animal lover. I own three dogs, a cat, and sometimes fish. I have seen many animals in real life.
My birthday is October 20. To all Wikipedians who are my friend, remember that will be my B-day.
