From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hey. I've been looking through Wikipedia for a while now, and I've been contributing for the past 10 months or so. I wouldn't call myself a Wikipediholic, but I do enjoy contributing to articles and fixing mistakes if I catch them. I'm trying now to get more involved in Wikipedia by contributing more edits and voting on more things. I've recently been performing a lot of copy edits. I go to the Wikipedia articles needing copy edit page and go to one of the articles. I then copy and paste the article into Microsoft Word, and fix many of the mistakes it catches. Obviously, Word can't be completely trusted so you still have to go through the whole article deciding which corrections should be made and which shouldn't, but it's still a lot quicker than finding the mistakes manually.
I've also recently started doing some recent changes patrolling. It is surprising how much vandalism there is on Wikipedia, and how unintellectual it is. If your going to vandalize a page, at least have it be something clever, not just "john was here. lolololololololol."
[edit] Articles I've Created
I've only created articles that were in the Articles requested for more than a year page so far.
[edit] Userboxes
As you can see, I really enjoy userboxes. hahaha.
