Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University

Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University was originally founded in 1953, though it was not granted university status by royal decree until 1974. Located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the university houses faculties teaching Arabic, Ulema, and Shari'ah, in addition to the social sciences and other curriculum. It currently houses more than 24,000 students and 1,300 faculty.
