24.165.233.150 has been attacking me since I created this account. Originally, he (wrongly) claimed I was a "sockpuppet" of some sort. Now he's just being childish. No attack intended, but your repeated insertion of the fark link is unacceptable and against wikipedia editing standards. Multiple editors have removed the link. Wikipedia is not a web directory, and as such links from articles should be as focused and authoritative as possible. Another account User:Stoker And Hoop was blocked just before the creation of your account for the same practices. The link IS "Miscellaneous" therefore, it belongs under the category of such. Not that it matters much, since he seems to have stopped adding the fark link, but this user is just another account for User:Stroker And Hoop who was blocked just a little bit ago for the fark cruft. I like fark just fine, and don't have a clue what something awful is (sounds awful)... But wikipedia isn't like DMOZ or yahoo.. it's not a collection of links. Yea, Wikipedia isn't consistent... not all pages meet our goals yet, but the general direction is towards improvement. Just because some pages do the wrong thing doesn't mean we should add more. There is a hurricane thread on almost every forum on the internet frequented by US residents. It would be useless and outside of the scope of the project to link them all... and there is nothing special or notable about the fark thread. 24.165.233.150 06:51, 29 August 2005 (UTC)
