Ilpendam (52°28′N 4°57′E) is a town in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Waterland, and lies about 4 km south of Purmerend.

In 2001, the town of Ilpendam had 1613 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.27 km2, and contained 633 residences.[1] The wider statistical area of Ilpendam has a population of around 1850.[2]
