Ilog, Negros Occidental

Ilog is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Negros Occidental, Philippines. It was the first capital of Negros Occidental and Siquijor Provinces in the late 1800s. The first inhabitants of Ilog are mostly migrants from Panay province.
According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 46,525 people in 9,141 households.
