User: Guenther Eichler. Born 1944, I have been working in the administration of Hamburg for almost 27 years now. The end of my working career is in sight and as retirement comes nearer and nearer, I thought it seems reasonable to commit myself to a little work on Wikipedia.
My hobbies are: Wine, next: wine, thirdly: wine and finally: wine. Therefore, I've decided to write, surprise, some articles about wine and France. I don't know very much about the wines of other countries, so I will confine myself to France.
The Île de Ré, just off the French Atlantic coast near La Rochelle in the Poitou-Charentes region, is my favorite French island, which is why I chose it as my user name.
