Ilayathambi Tharsini

Ilayathambi Tharsini, also spelled Ilaiyathamby Tharshini (1985-2005) was a Tamil woman on Sri Lanka who was raped and murdered, allegedly by Sri Lanka Navy forces, thus triggering protests and attacks from various Tamil groups.
