Il Popolo d'Italia

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Il Popolo d'Italia (The People of Italy), was a newspaper founded by Benito Mussolini on November 15, 1914. Il Popolo d'Italia would run until July 24, 1943 and would become the foundation for the Fascist movement in Italy after WWI. This paper was subsidized by the French and industrialists on the pretext of influencing Italy to join the Allies during the First World War.
