Ike Awgu

Ike Jonathan Awgu (born on October 14, 1983 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada) is a Canadian politician. Awgu ran for Mayor in the 2003 municipal election, and finished third out of eight contenders with 2.92% of the vote.

After the municipal election, he became a columnist for the Ottawa Sun newspaper. Awgu hosted X-Factor, a politics-oriented national television show on CPAC, in the summer of 2004. Studying economics and math at Carleton University, Ike graduated in 2005 and is currently attending Queen's University studying law, he is scheduled to graduate in 2008.

Awgu finished 4th place at the 2004 CUSID National Championships.[1]
