Igor Petrovich Volk, born April 12, 1937 in Gotwald Kharkov Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, was a USSR cosmonaut.
He was selected as a cosmonaut on July 30, 1980, flew as Research Cosmonaut on Soyuz T-12 and retired in 1996. He is also an inventor and, in 2005, was planning a new concept flying car called "Lark".
Igor Volk is married and has two children.
