Igor Korneev

Igor Korneev (Russian: Игорь Корнеев) (born September 4, 1967 in Moscow) is a former Russian football midfielder. Since 2002 he also holds Dutch citizenship.

On the club level, Korneev has played for PFC CSKA Moscow (1987-91), RCD Espanyol (1991-94), FC Barcelona (1994-95), SC Heerenveen (1995-97), Feyenoord Rotterdam (1997-2002), NAC Breda (2002-2003). Korneev was named Russian Footballer of the Year in 1991. He retired after the 2002 season with NAC Breda.

For Russia, Korneev has been capped 14 times, scoring 3 goals. Korneev played for his country at the Euro 92 and 1994 World Cup.
