Ignacio Barraquer (March 25, 1884 - May 13, 1965) was a Spanish ophthalmologist known for his contributions to the advancement of cataract surgery.[1] Barraquer was born in Barcelona, Spain.[2] He was the father of Jose Barraquer, an ophthalmologist known to many as "the father of modern refractive surgery".[1]
