I George is Commerce Graduate with PG Diploma in Systems Development and BrainBench Certification for Microsoft Access 2000 and have around 10 years of work experience.
During First 5 years George was extensively involved in the field of Software Development and Software Training to Corporate firms which includes BHEL, APEX Bank, SBI, Bank of Mysore, Tata Consultancy Services, Indian Oil Corporation, etc. During this period he developed various application softwares like Proposal Tracking Software, Contacts Management, CV Database, Accounting Softwares, Loan Tracking System, Application Processing software for RRB. Developed a Distributor Voucher Tracking System for Indian Oil Corporation, Bhopal for automating monthly summary and detailed report generation. Conducted various training programmes on Windows NT, Windows 98, Office 2000 for the employees of BHEL, APEX Bank, SBI, Bank of Mysore. Developed application softwares using various development tools like Visual Basic, Visual Foxpro, Clipper etc. Also has exposure to Microsoft Project, Graphic Softwares, AutoCADVisual Dbase and Microsoft Access; and programming languages C, C++; Operating Systems like Windows NT, Windows 98,DOS; Managing System at First Computers and looking after the overall administration of the Computer Lab and Batch Management. Also well verse with Accounting softwares like Tally, EX Next Generation. Also Conducted a training programme on behalf of TCS on E.X. Next Generation (Accounting Software developed by TCS) for their Key Dealers and Key Persons.
From last five George worked with multi national engineering consultancy firms, engaged in providing consultancy services for design as well construction supervision in the field of Highways, Water, Airport, Hydropower and other infrastructure projects in India and other parts of the world.
During this period he was extensively involved in Business Development Department preparing Technical Proposals, Expression of Interests and Capability Statements for Design & Supervision projects in Highways, Water, Environment, Railway sectors for NHAI, State PWDs and other private infrastructure developers.
As Proposal Coordinator in Business Development Department, he was responsible for developing the document as per the TOR/Client’s requirements from preparing Check list to compilation of relevant data, experiences of the firm to designing cover page and presentation of the document including coordinating other activities leading to timely submission of the proposal.
During this period he was also assisting the engineering department by developing Visual Basic applications to automate various repetitive tasks in excel, importing and exporting data from and to AutoCAD through automation, generating tables based on Highway, Traffic and Social related data collected through various surveys like Poverty Analysis, Traffic Count, Parking Analysis, Origin and Destination Analysis software, Cost Estimate Software etc. Also organized and conducted Road Roughness Survey using ROMDAS for MP PCC Project funded by World Bank of 2085 Kms during my tenure in Sverdrup Civil Inc. USA. Developed software to generate Cross Sections, Longitudinal and Vertical profile of the road in AutoCAD by reading level data available in Excel files.
