[edit] Plot
Joe MacGonaughgill (Eric Schaeffer) and Lucy Ackerman (Sarah Jessica Parker) are roommates and best friends living in a small Manhattan apartment. Lucy is turning to the age of 30 and her love life is embarrissingly dull. Joe on the other hand is infatuated with his neighbour (Elle Macpherson). Lucy then decides to have a death pact with Joe like they did back in College. If both of them don't find true love by the time Lucy turns 30, then they both agreed to jump off the Brooklyn Bridge.
Then Jane (Elle Macpherson) comes to an artwork show of Joe's where Joe finally gathered up the courage Jane out, while Lucy begins dating Bwick Elias (Ben Stiller), a weirdo artist who paints with his own body parts. Joe soon realizes that Jane isn't who he thought her out to be. Bwick also turns out to be "no Joe" for Lucy. It was at that point that Joe and Lucy realized they were perfect for each other.
