Liberal?

Is this the right word? In the sense it is used in th US I guess it fits but in Britain it has generally meant either free-market economic liberalism or centrism. My guess is Steve Bell would describe his politics as social democratic or socialist. EDIT: I'm going to change it. A Geek Tragedy 15:29, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

Don't bother with this if you haven't seen the movie, but--

I find it deeply ironic that the U.S. press, after the Columbine shootings and others, excoriated Doom, other video games, and televsions programs, but completely ignored this film, which is 1) set in a high school and 2) features students shooting their teachers. An inconvenient scapegoat, I guess, less familiar than the commonly recognized evil first-person shooters and NYPD Blue.  :-7 --KQ
