Idsall School is a comprehensive secondary school with Specialist Sports College status located in the small town of Shifnal in Shropshire, England. Idsall has its own Sixth Form Centre, which offers a wide range of A Level subjects.

During the time that the FA's School of Excellence was based at nearby Lilleshall, several famous footballers (including some future England internationals) attended the school, including Michael Owen, Sol Campbell, Joe Cole, Andy Cole, Jermaine Defoe and Nicky Barmby. The school won a bid to become a Specialist Sports College in recent years, and now has its own gym which is open to the public as well as pupils and staff.

When joining the school, pupils are assigned a house (usually two tutor groups belong to each house) during their first week. The houses are named after Shropshire hills (Caradoc, Longmynd, Ragleth and Wrekin). During the year, house competitions are held ranging from sports to spelling. During whole school assemblies at the end of each term the points gained by each house during that term are announced and in the final assembly of the year the Finney Shield is awarded to the house captains of the house which has gained the most points during the year. Strangely, the Sheild has never been won by Wrekin House since the competetion began.

The school holds annual residential trips to Wales for years 7s, Arthog (Wales) for year 9s and skiing trips in Austria/France for years 8, 10 and 12.
