Talk:Identity Caucus

[edit] Problems
I tried to trim some of the fat from this unwieldy article, but it still has some major flaws that I don't have the energy to address. First of all, it's unclear why this article is all about the Green Party; there are many parties, NGOs, and student groups that have caucuses for identity-based groups. Secondly, as my revisions suggest (but awkwardly), the title of this article, "identity caucus," is not the official GPUS term for these groups (and it is often used derogatorily by opponents of the concept).
Every reference internal to the Green Party that I've seen uses the term "Identity Caucus" (c.f. the Lavender Greens home page, the Disability Caucus "links" page, the official Green Party Minutes of 2002, this official national Green Party press release from 2002 on commondreams.org).
I agree that the term isn't Green Party specific, although this entry is the top search result for "Identity Caucus" within Google. Do you have suggestions on how to reword or re-title it... would "United States Green Party Identity Caucus" be appropriate?
