Should that be clarified? That applies only until the time the elevator arrives to service the call request. (Pushing the button again before the elevator arrives has one effect (none); pushing the button again after the elevator arrives and commits to leave has a different effect (a second arrival).)

Haha that's funny, it sounds kind of like a joke about people who are impatient waiting for the elevator to arrive and keep pressing the button over and over. 66.92.144.74 22:35, 22 December 2005 (UTC)
