Ichihara, Chiba

Ichihara (市原市 Ichihara-shi) is a city located in Chiba, Japan.
As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 279,426 and the density of 758.90 persons per km². The total area is 368.20 km².
The city was founded on May 1, 1963. It was home to JEF United.
Ichihara maintains a sister city relationship with Mobile, Alabama, USA.
