Ice Hockey Superleague
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Ice Hockey Superleague was the top-level professional ice hockey league in the United Kingdom between 1996 and 2003, replacing the Premier Division of the British Hockey League. It was disbanded after the 2002-2003 season and replaced by the British Elite Ice Hockey League. Although there was no promotion and relegation during this period, some teams transferred between the Superleague and the British National League, considered the second-tier of British ice hockey.
