Ibrahima Gueye

Ibrahima Gueye (born on 19 February 1978 in Dakar, Senegal) is a Senegalese football player, currently playing for Red Star Belgrade. He prefers playing as a central defender or defensive midfielder.

Gueye started his playing career at DUC (Senegal), before joining FC Douane (Senegal). In the summer of 2001 he signed contract with Bulgarian record title holder PFC CSKA Sofia. Very quickly he established himself as one of the most important players of the club and a fans' favourite. With the club he was twice champion of Bulgaria, in 2003 and 2005.

Ibrahima Gueye played for PFC CSKA Sofia until February 2006 when he was bought by the Turkish club Samsunspor. After only six months with the club he signed for Red Star.
