IBeam

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The correct title of this article is iBeam. The initial letter is shown capitalized due to technical restrictions.

The iBeam is a two-piece light set for Apple Computer's popular iPod.

The iBeam includes a flashlight and a Class III laser pointer, which can be seen from over a quarter of a mile away. The iBeam draws power from the remote control and headphone ports on the iPod, and thus prevents the use of the wired remote or headphones.

The iBeam package includes protective caps which snap on to the iBeam pieces and allow them to be attached to a keychain.

iBEAM is the name of the world's first streaming media Content Delivery Network (CDN).
