Ian (born 1973, Crewe, England) only son and second child of Brian Walker-Smith and his wife Jean Walker-Smith. Ian currently resides in Rayleigh, United Kingdom with his wife Andrea Paulina Aracena Ukrow and first born Indiana Scott Walker-Smith Ukrow.

Ian has an older sister Julia Walker-Smith.

Ian obtained a B.Sc.(Hons) and M.Sc. at the University of Liverpool.
