Ian Westlake (born 10 November 1983 in Clacton) is an English professional footballer formerly of Ipswich Town, but currently playing for West Yorkshire team Leeds United.

He was a trainee at Ipswich Town and signed as a professional in 2002. He won the coveted Player of the Year award in 2004. He has recently moved to Leeds United in a part exchange deal for Dan Harding. Westlake has featured in nearly all of Leeds' matches in the 2006-07 Championship season, playing alongside the likes of Shaun Derry, Kevin Nicholls and Jonathan Douglas in central midfield. Since the depature of former manager Kevin Blackwell, Westlake has played less games, but new manager Dennis Wise has still played him.

Westlake has won the praise of many Leeds fans who see him as a David Batty style hard working and tackling midfielder. Westlake is a self confessed Leeds United fan.
