Ian Masters (broadcaster)

Ian Masters is a British television broadcaster, commentator, author, screenwriter and documentary filmmaker.

Masters worked for the BBC for more than 25 years with the BBC, firstly presenting news and current affairs programmes; after this he became the Managing Editor of various BBC local radio stations before returning to TV management at BBC TV South; here he was in charge for six years. He is now the Controller, broadcating at The Thomson Foundation - Worldwide Media Training and Consultancy.

In the 1970's and 1980's he was the anchorman for the BBC regional television programme Look East
