Rt Rev Ian Forbes Begg (1910-1989) was bishop of Aberdeen and Orkney from 1973 to 1977. Held Hon DD from University of Aberdeen. After retirement was priest-in-charge of St Machar's Church, Bucksburn, on the outskirts of Aberdeen.
