From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ian D'Sa, born October 30, 1975 in Great Britain, is the guitarist for the Canadian modern rock band Billy Talent. Of Indian (Goa) descent, he grew up in Ontario, playing guitar at a young age. He started a band called "Dragon Flower", but met Benjamin Kowalewicz, Jonathan Gallant and Aaron Solowoniuk at a talent show. He started a new band with them when their previous band, "To Each His Own" broke up, and formed "Pezz" (later to become "Billy Talent"). While in Billy Talent, D'Sa went to Sheridan College where he got his degree in classical animation and even worked on Angela Anaconda as an animator.[1] He also co-produced Billy Talent II with Gavin Brown. He now focuses on touring and recording in Billy Talent.
He plays a Fender Stratocaster.
