Ian Christy

Ian Christy is a game designer, production designer, illustrator, and hack writer.
Ian is known primarily as a underground comic illustrator in the Pacific Northwest, and as a mentor for other up and coming artists. He was one of the Driving forces behind the Draw Jam.

Born 1970 in Wooster, Ohio. Grew up through 8th Grade in Tennessee, moved with family to Lexington, Kentucky and remained there through third year of college at the University of Kentucky. Dropped out, moved to Cincinnati, Ohio to work, then on to Columbus, Ohio until 1994. Moved cross-country to Eugene, Oregon to complete a BFA in Visual Design at University of Oregon, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 1997. Worked full time concurrent to and after school at Dynamix, a Sierra Studio until the production house folded in 2001. Moved to Vancouver, British Columbia to attend Vancouver Film School for the year of 2002 in Film Foundations Class 84. Completed with honours, hired immediately afterwards by Radical Entertainment and works there presently.

Best known for working on PC Multiplayer games including Starsiege and Tribes 2. Currently a Game Designer for Radical Entertainment overlooking Environment Design and related gameplay mechanics for VUG's Scarface Game [1].
