I Spy is a children's book series written by Jean Marzollo and published by Scholastic Press. A typical I Spy book contains pictures of various items, either in one massive clutter, or set up as to portray a scene (ex. haunted house). On the bottom of each picture is a two-line riddle, instructing the reader on what items to search for. Occasionally one must find words spelled out on the objects, which is denoted in the riddle with all capital letters.
