I Spy was a shortlived Canadian hardcore punk band, active in Winnipeg, Manitoba in the early-1990s.
I Spy, originally from Regina, Saskatchewan (and originally called "Clump") made Winnipeg their home in 1994. The band was comprised of Todd Kowalski (vocals/guitar), Rarie (guitar), Guido (bass), Juice Pig (drums), For the next two years, they made a name for themselves in the hardcore scene until they called it a day in the summer of '96. (Todd Kowalski now plays in Propagandhi.)
The band released several short EPs/7" during their short career, most notably the Revenge Of The Little Shits, and a split EP with Propagandhi entitled I'd Rather Be Flag-Burning. All their released were later amalgamated into one definitive CD entitled Perversity Is Spreading... It's About Time!, released in 1998 on G7 Welcoming Committee Records.
The song "Just Between Friends" is featured on G7's 2005 compilation Take Penacilin Now.
