I Say a Little Prayer
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"I Say a Little Prayer (For You)" is a song written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David adapted for use by many vocal artists, most famously by Dionne Warwick in 1967. It has also appeared in many films, being featured prominently in the comedy My Best Friend's Wedding in 1997.
Many famous singers have performed and recorded this song, including Aretha Franklin, who recorded it in 1968 as part of her album Aretha Now. It was later included in the compilation album Aretha's Gold.
One interesting quality that this song has (which does not normally occur) is that the song's title appears in the verse instead of the chorus.
