I Palindrome I is a song and EP from They Might Be Giants. The title song also appears on Apollo 18 (1992), released in 1992 by Elektra Records.

Although very few They Might Be Giants interpretations are certain, the song is widely considered to cryptically tell the story of a man who murders his mother to collect his inheritance. At the end of the song, this deed is turned back on him when one of his children kills him. The implied moral is that what goes around comes around, a message that is reflected in the song's title.

The "I Palindrome I" track itself contains visual, musical, word letter and conceptual (such as an ouroboros) palindromes in its lyrics.
